RETAINING WALLS: SOLDIER PILE - BERLINER
Franki offers a selection of retaining walls for a wide range of applications:
  • Soldier pile: using precast or cast in-situ reinforced concrete columns.
  • Berliner: using prefabricated steel columns.
  1. Excavation for columns.
  2. a. Installation of precast columns with concreting to excavation level, or construction of bored piles as columns.
    b. Installation of prefabricated steel columns, concreting to excavation level.
  3. Excavate to first level, and cast reinforced concrete infill panels.
  4. Install ground anchors or internal propping.
  5. Repeat operations 3 and 4 to required depth. Wall completed.
